July 21 Installation Service

Grace Church Picnic -- August 4, after 10:30 worship

Jesus Cares Ministries welcomes everyone from the Lakeshore community who has special needs.  Worship at the Cross services are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 9:00am at Bethany Lutheran Church. The Jesus Cares Bible studies will be held the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:00am at Grace. We are always looking for volunteers to help with this ministry.  If you would like more information, please contact Denise Haese at (920) 901-2242.  Jesus Cares Ministries at Grace presents a Bible story with singing, crafts, and snacks.  These lessons follow a format appropriate for people with a cognitive disability or dementia.  Also, young children would benefit from the lessons. 

If you have a special needs child, or are a caregiver for someone with special needs, this program is for you and your child.

Christian Life Resources ministry is affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. In partnership with fellow members of the WELS and Evangelical Lutheran Synod, we speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves and put our faith into action with CLR-affiliated pregnancy care centers and the Christ-centered home for mothers, New Beginnings - A Home for Mothers.  Our team at CLR has developed a multitude of valuable resources from a Christian perspective on a wide spectrum of life and family issues. The summer schedule for Adult Bible Classes are Sundays at 8:00 a.m. before the 9:00 worship service, Tuesdays at 6:30pm and Wednesdays at 1:15pm.  Last summer Bible class will be July 28.  We will use August to plan the fall Bible classes.

During the summer, our Bible studies will consist of answers to questions submmitted by our attendees.  If you have a Bible question or a spiritual question, please submit it in the canister in the gathering area of church.  It will be given a biblical answer as soon as we research and put an answer together.  

During the Week of July 14, we will discuss the topic of addictions, praying and getting or not getting answers, and why are some saved and others not.
 
During the week of July 21, we will discuss questions we may have about Adam and Eve, and at the other end of time, the new heavens and the new earth, among other topics.
