The Education Elder represents to the Coordinating Council and to the congregation the ministries of our congregation that strive to grow in faith and godly living through the study of God's Word.
These ministries include: Early Childhood Ministry, Cradle Roll, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Teen Ministry, Bible classes, and all Christian education programs of the congregation.
The coordinators of these ministries report to the Education Elder and may meet with him as an Education Committee.
The Early Childhood Board of Education also reports to the Coordinating Council and to the voters through the Education Elder. This Board oversees the preschool and its related programs. The Board promotes the partnership between Grace Congregation and the Ealry Childhood Ministry.
This Board will include the Education Elder and two elected voters of the congregation who may be elected to no more than two consecutive three-year terms.
