Pastor Ryan Henning has served at Grace since July 2024. He loves diving into God’s Word to share its truth with God’s people through preaching, teaching, and conversations. With a friendly smile and easy-going nature, he enjoys connecting with people and hearing their stories.
Before becoming the pastor at Grace, Ryan earned a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and served as a teacher for one year. He went on to graduate from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in spring of 2024. Through his education and college work experience, Ryan developed gifts in music, teaching, service, and showing compassion.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Cait, walking their dog Eleanor (Ellie), reading books, attending musicals, and checking out restaurants. Ryan is glad to call Manitowoc home and can’t wait to connect with you to explore the love of God together.
Bob Fink has been a staff minister at Grace since April 2016. Grace called him to teach the adult Bible classes and visit the elderly and other members. He also assists with outreach activities like VBS and the sending out of mailings with a gospel message. Bob is also working with inmates at the Manitowoc County Jail, sending them devotions and assisting with the one-on-one visitation program.
Bob graduated from UW-Stevens Point in 1975 with a degree in secondary education. He taught at Huron Valley Lutheran High School in Westland, MI for 10 years and at Manitowoc Lutheran High School for 20 years. He also coached wrestling at MLHS. Previous to coming to Grace, Bob worked as an Engineering Specialist designing, building, and programming automated testing machines.
Bob has been married to his wife Susan since 1978. His hobbies are gardening and remodeling homes, mainly his own and the homes of his three children. He and Sue have two wonderful granddaughters.
Lori Stuebs has served as the Office Administrator at Grace Lutheran Church since late 2023. She aids in the daily operations of the church. Lori manages communication, helps coordinate church events, supports staff, and helps keep the calendar and records up to date.
Prior to working at Grace, Lori worked for 18 years at a veterinary clinic as a lead
kennel technician, sanitary technician, and customer service representative. She also worked as a parent educator, worked in several factories, and has worked as a florist and cashier in a grocery store. Lori enjoys working in the Lord’s house, helping the Pastor to prepare for the coming week’s services, and talking with members. She feels privileged to serve in this way.
Outside the office, Lori likes spending time with her husband, six children, and their
families, and caring for her two dogs, fish, bird, and her house plants. She also enjoys doing various crafts.
Carol Stubbe has served as the Finance Manger at Grace since 2025. She oversees the financial workings of the church and works closely with Pastor and the Finance Elder. For the majority of Carol’s career, she has worked in either finance or accounting, except for a short time while she worked in a bakery as a head cake decorator and business administrator. Outside of working at church, Carol also works full time at Lakeshore College in Cleveland as a Capital Asset Accountant.
Carol became a member of Grace in 2012 and regularly came to church with her husband prior to that. She had previously worked at Grace as our church cleaner and at our preschool, Jesus' Lambs of Grace.
In Carol’s free time she enjoys reading, maintaining her flowers, fishing, camping, and spending time with friends and family, especially her husband and their kids. Carol enjoys working for Grace and is happy to help the church wherever she's needed.
Marlee Sickinger has served as Church Coordinator at Grace Lutheran Church since early 2026, bringing energy and organization into everything she does. In her role, she enjoys building meaningful connections with members, coordinating groups and volunteer opportunities, and partnering closely with the Pastor to support and strengthen the ministry at Grace.
Marlee is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where individuals and families can grow in faith and community. Her background includes several years of experience in social work and early childhood education, equipping her with a compassionate, service-minded approach to ministry.
She also serves as an international host parent for Manitowoc Lutheran High School, welcoming three students and supporting their journey in a new country. Outside of church, Marlee enjoys spending time with her fluffy husky, Leica, reading a good book, gardening and volunteering with JCI USA (Junior Chamber of Commerce).
